Plans to build a 1:1 scale inert replica of the German World War 2 machine gun known as the MG42 or Maschinengewehr 42 (Machine Gun 42) on DVD
The replica is non firing and will not fire blanks or chamber rounds; however, the replica body is suitable for conversion to Airsoft AEG
The plan set includes 14 full sized plans on A1, A2 and A3 sized pages in Adobe PDF and AutoCAD DXF formats and is sent on DVD
Measurements can be taken direct from the drawings - no scaling required - with the measure tool which has been activated in the Adobe software.
The Plans include templates to avoid marking out errors and make for a simple straight forward build.
Basic metal working and some woodworking skills are required to complete this project and there is some welding to be done on the Receiver and Barrel Shroud.
The MG 42 Handbook in English is included free in the plans package and is an invaluable reference guide for the finer details of the MG 42 Machine Gun.
A 111 build picture Photograph album is also included in the plan set and full scale 1:1 sized 4 view Reference Drawing on A0 sized Adobe PDF and PNG Graphics Format
